well, today was Otto’s last day of kindergarten. He got a fantastic report card (they list a whole bunch of different things, like “works carefully” and “respects rights and abilities of others”, etc., etc., etc., and the rankings go “[M]ost of the time/[P]art of the time/[S]eldom/[N]ot Yet”. Otto got all M and M+). [...]

Ottopalooza was a huge success. We had enough stuff for the kids to do and only one kid got injured to tears. Fortunately (unfortunately?) it was ours, so we didn’t have to worry about invoking the wrath of any parents.
