so the weather gods smiled upon us

just watched last night’s episode of Life on Mars. I kind of look at it as a bit of Foyle’s War – a mystery to be solved that is rather specific to the time frame in which the series is set.

Nothing as concrete as “listen to the kids as they read”, but rather just sort of another adult presence in the room while they do their first-thing-in-the-morning routine. so I got a new cell phone. It’s nothing fancy schmancy (I really didn’t want an iPhone) but it’s sleek and has lots of neato toys and I NOW HAVE THE CBS SPECIAL PRESENTATION FROM THE 1970′S SOUND AS MY RINGTONE SO I CAN DIE HAPPY NOW.
